Eligibility Requirements for Schengen Visa Application from UK
Person can stay a maximum of 90 days in member states in any 180 days period. Visas for visits exceeding that period remain subject to national procedures of the relevant member state. Evidence of nationality (or residence if living in another country), employment, income, savings, hotel booking, sponsor from an EU host may required, depending on the circumstances of the case. In addiiton to these Schengen visa requirements, travel and medical insurance is also a mandatory requirement.
Processing time for Schengen visa application
It typically takes 6-8 weeks but time scale vary depending on the time of the application as in summer months, biometrics appointments may not be available in few weeks time. For this reason, we encourage clients to book service with us few months in advance of intended travel date.
