Eligibility
Permitted Paid Engagement visa is for professionals and experts who are
- invited by a UK based organisation or client
- want to do specific paid work in the UK without being sponsored under the points based visa system
- visiting the UK for no more than one month
Processing time
The applications under this category are usually decided in 3 weeks. However, its better to apply in advance as the decision can take longer than 3 weeks. The earliest you can apply is 3 months before travel.
Home office fees
The Home Office fee for the application is £95. The visa is valid for 1 Month.

The documents you will need to apply this Visa are:
- a current passport or other valid travel document – your passport must have a blank page for your visa
- a formal invitation from the UK-based organisation or client you’ll be paid by
- proof that the paid engagement relates to your expertise, qualifications and main job in your home country, for example a letter from your employer
