Introduction
Update, replace or transfer to a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). You should take Card with you when you travel abroad as immigration authorities will ask for it to give you permission in the UK. You should also apply for new card if your personal details such as name has been changed or information on your current BRP card are not correct.

Eligibility Requirements
You should have a valid, expired or copy of lost BRP Card. Some people may have sticker or stamp on their current or expired passports.

EU Standard service : pay 75.20 GBP, most people get a decision within 8 weeks of submitting their on-line application. The amount you pay for each service option includes the 19.20 GBP biometrics enrolment fee for each applicable person on this application.
ILR- Standard service : pay 248.20 GBP, most people get a decision within 6 months of submitting their on-line application

Evidence to prove your continuous residency in the UK since becoming a permanent resident. The document(s) you provide must cover every year since you became a permanent resident. Example documents include: council tax letters; letter(s) from a GP confirming dates of attendance; letter(s) from a school or college confirming dates of attendance; electricity, gas or water bills; or letter(s) from employer(s) confirming employment. This means you have been given the right to live in the UK permanently. You would have been given indefinite leave to remain or indefinite leave to enter. You may also have a ‘no time limit’ stamp or documents confirming there are no time limits on your residency in the UK.
Proof of address- your UK driving licence, a council tax statement, a utility bill, a bank statement or a letter from a GP containing your full name and address
Service suitability
The service is suitable for immigrants who already have a Biometric Card from the UK Home Office and their card has been lost or they want to update the details on the card. Some people might have ILR stamp or sticker on their passport and they want to swap it for Biometric Residence Card.
